Eelups are cute creatures that can range from the size of a Chihuahua to a Great Dane, they come in many different colors and adore their owners. They can come out on land for short periods of time and must rehydrate often, they also can cause electric shocks when experiencing an overwhelming emotion such as joy.

Variants

Skrimps are small creatures that are the size of an average house cat, they are often skittish and can't see due to their eyes being permanently shut. However, the attenae on their head and chin allows them to sense vibrations in the water and when troubled with danger they are able to roll up into a ball and disperse water from their gills. This allows them to roll away in the water quickly while also being protected by the carapace on their back. They can be on land for short periods of time, but will need extra guidance from their owners during that time.

Variants

Belly Warmers hail from the colder regions and the steepest mountains, they have a thick fur coat and a craving for coal to satisfy their endless interal furnace held within their bellies. Thick smoke spews from their antlers and alerts anyone nearby to come closer if they need help, they are eager to warm up anyone who is cold or sick. They can be hard to maintain due to having to keep them outside often unless you want smoke to fill the house.
